Our Eldership

 As a faithful congregation of the Lord's Church we are overseen by three men that serve as elders over the Body of Christ.  These men have been selected by the congregation after having met the qualifications for the office of elder given to us in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. 

These men serve and protect the Body of Christ in the same way a shepherd protects a flock of sheep.  As elders in the Lord's Church they stand ready to advance the cause of Christ at every opportunity.

The Lord's Church in Hyde Park is also served by men that serve the body in the office of Deacon. These men, having been tested, are selected to serve having been found to meet the qualifications taught in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. These men serve under the oversight of the eldership and oversee the functions of the Lord's Church.
